Embedded Software Engineer

Job Description

You will join a Software Factory department within the broad Engineering organization. We are responsible for development of Software-In-Loop (SIL) test frameworks, tests and test tooling for the software in the High-Performance core system of the computer unit. You will be working in development and maintenance of software test frameworks, software test tools specifically Snok and test automation in CI/CD environments.

Qualifications

You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent. You are self-going with at least 5-10 years of experience in software development and have a quality-oriented mindset.

• Development experience in Python, PyTest, C/C++
• Experience in Test framework development and Test automation in CI/CD operations
• Zuul
• Proficient in Technical documentation
• The skills and experience to understand and propose test mechanisms about medium/large scale software systems
• Strong communication, multitasking, problem-solving, and planning skills
• Excellent networker and cross-functional team player with a can-do mindset
• Fluency in spoken and written English

Meritorious

• Knowledge of AUTOSAR, ASPICE, V-Model, ISO 26262, CAN/LIN (automotive)
• Knowledge of Configuration management, Branching, Variant management
• Experience in Bazel, Ansible, YAML
• Experience within automotive industry and from working in an international environment
