Head of Nordic Markets - Sales Activation

As Head of Sales Activation, you are the energy behind our commercial engine. You bring our global sales strategy to life—making it real, relevant, and revenue-driving across markets and segments. You lead the charge on new business, customer engagement, and campaign execution, ensuring we’re always connecting the right offer with the right customer at the right time.

Our Head of Sales Activation will have 5 direct reports, and will report to our Head of Home Markets. 

Challenges you will work on:
  • Lead the global sales activation agenda, aligning markets and teams around targeted campaigns, launches, and tactical plays that drive performance.
  • Own and execute SAS’s new business strategy, ensuring a structured and scalable approach to acquiring high-value customers
  • Build and lead a high-performing sales activation team, working in close partnership with Sales, Marketing, and Distribution
  • Design, execute, and iterate on go-to-market strategies for new products, offers, and commercial priorities.
  • Identify and deploy segment-specific activation strategies across corporate, TMC, leisure, and digital trade segments.
  • Use data and customer insights to shape action—developing impactful targeting, messaging, and conversion strategies.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Management, Loyalty, Brand, and Network teams to ensure commercial actions are cohesive and customer-first.
  • Set the activation & events calendar—ensuring we plan and launch with intent, agility, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Track results, share insights, and continuously optimize to drive long-term value and relevance in every sales touchpoint.

 

To be successful, we believe you have:

  • Proven track record in B2B or travel sales strategy, marketing activation, or customer engagement
  • Experience leading teams and orchestrating cross-functional execution across commercial, marketing, and product teams
  • Strong understanding of airline distribution, sales channels, and customer segmentation
  • Data literate and commercially sharp—able to turn insights into targeted commercial action
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills—able to rally internal teams and win external audiences
  • Agile, collaborative, and bold—comfortable with pace, ambiguity, and driving change
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus

  • This position is based in Frösundavik, Solna (Stockholm), and you will be expected to work onsite. Remote work may also be an option, depending on the agreement made with your manager.
